A eleva\u00e7\u00e3o do esp\u00edrito.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\nA pe\u00e7a \u201cAscensus\u201d \u00e9 uma obra que reflete a forte liga\u00e7\u00e3o do artista \u00e0 simbologia ancestral e espiritual associada a esta figura. A composi\u00e7\u00e3o articula diferentes materiais e linguagens visuais, combinando um busto em fibra com asas em PVC recortadas e esculpidas manualmente. Estas foram posteriormente enriquecidas com relevos desenvolvidos atrav\u00e9s de uma argamassa criada pelo pr\u00f3prio artista, conferindo-lhes textura, profundidade e expressividade. A aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de diferentes tonalidades nas asas cria subtis varia\u00e7\u00f5es crom\u00e1ticas que se transformam com a incid\u00eancia da luz, refor\u00e7ando a atmosfera m\u00edstica da pe\u00e7a. Durante a explora\u00e7\u00e3o das possibilidades do material, o artista foi acumulando formas moldadas que, ao serem observadas em conjunto, revelaram inesperadamente a estrutura org\u00e2nica de uma flor. A obra desenvolveu-se a partir dessa descoberta intuitiva, combinando t\u00e9cnicas de aquecimento, moldagem e arrefecimento para criar o movimento delicado das p\u00e9talas. A a\u00e7\u00e3o do calor sobre o PVC deu origem a diferentes tonalidades, texturas e efeitos de craquel\u00e9, enriquecendo a superf\u00edcie da pe\u00e7a e evidenciando o car\u00e1cter experimental do processo. O artista procurou preservar a ess\u00eancia formal do objeto original, simplificando alguns elementos, como os suportes para velas, e adaptando a sua geometria para garantir maior estabilidade e sustentabilidade. Embora a vers\u00e3o apresentada seja executada em cer\u00e2mica, a obra pode ser produzida noutros materiais, como fibra, permitindo responder a diferentes contextos de utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o, nomeadamente em espa\u00e7os exteriores ou quando \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio reduzir o peso da pe\u00e7a. A pe\u00e7a integra uma cole\u00e7\u00e3o exclusiva, mantendo o seu car\u00e1cter \u00fanico, embora possam ser realizadas r\u00e9plicas mediante encomenda. O acabamento resulta de um processo experimental de rea\u00e7\u00f5es qu\u00edmicas sobre superf\u00edcies met\u00e1licas, explorando tonalidades de ouro envelhecido, bronze, lat\u00e3o e n\u00edquel. A utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de elementos como sal grosso, vinagre e \u00e1gua oxigenada permitiu criar uma p\u00e1tina marcada por tons esverdeados e oxidados, evocando a apar\u00eancia de um objeto antigo. Com este tratamento, o artista pretende transmitir a ideia de um candelabro nobre, pertencente a outra \u00e9poca, que, ap\u00f3s s\u00e9culos de exist\u00eancia, foi reencontrado e preserva as marcas do tempo, conferindo \u00e0 pe\u00e7a uma forte carga hist\u00f3rica e est\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n

Desenvolvidas numa linguagem visual comum, estas pe\u00e7as procuram recriar a riqueza org\u00e2nica da pedra, explorando relevos, profundidades e irregularidades que evocam ambientes naturais. Enquanto a Vultus Terrae<\/strong> se apresenta como uma composi\u00e7\u00e3o mais expansiva, concebida para integrar jardins verticais tridimensionais e criar uma sensa\u00e7\u00e3o de volume e movimento, o Primordio<\/strong> aprofunda essa explora\u00e7\u00e3o em 360 graus, incorporando formas que remetem para estalactites, estalagmites e estruturas geol\u00f3gicas complexas. (Rocha Suspensa) ilha suspensa.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\nA pe\u00e7a \u201cinsula\u201d integra a cole\u00e7\u00e3o inspirada nas forma\u00e7\u00f5es rochosas naturais, assumindo-se como a interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o a\u00e9rea deste conjunto de obras, que inclui tamb\u00e9m um vaso escult\u00f3rico e uma pe\u00e7a de parede. Combinando refer\u00eancias org\u00e2nicas presentes noutras cria\u00e7\u00f5es do artista, nomeadamente a ideia de habitat suspenso explorada na Colmeia, esta pe\u00e7a prop\u00f5e uma vis\u00e3o de uma forma\u00e7\u00e3o rochosa elevada, quase flutuante, evocando paisagens imagin\u00e1rias e ambientes naturais fora da escala convencional. A obra foi esculpida em EPS, refor\u00e7ada com rede e uma estrutura met\u00e1lica interna para garantir a sua sustenta\u00e7\u00e3o, sendo posteriormente revestida com uma base ciment\u00edcia que lhe confere a textura e apar\u00eancia caracter\u00edsticas da rocha. O resultado \u00e9 uma pe\u00e7a escult\u00f3rica que alia leveza visual e robustez estrutural, explorando a rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre natureza, volume e suspens\u00e3o no espa\u00e7o.<\/p>\n

A Rosa Mec\u00e2nica nasceu de um processo de experimenta\u00e7\u00e3o com esferovite, desenvolvido de forma intuitiva atrav\u00e9s da sobreposi\u00e7\u00e3o e cruzamento de blocos e linhas. Inicialmente concebida na vertical, foi ao ser colocada na horizontal que o artista reconheceu a verdadeira identidade da pe\u00e7a, marcando um momento decisivo na sua cria\u00e7\u00e3o. A obra foi inicialmente pensada com o nome Four Sides, devido \u00e0s diferentes interpreta\u00e7\u00f5es visuais que proporcionava consoante o \u00e2ngulo de observa\u00e7\u00e3o. No entanto, \u00e0 medida que o processo evolu\u00eda, a composi\u00e7\u00e3o come\u00e7ou a assemelhar-se a uma rosa, constru\u00edda cuidadosamente camada ap\u00f3s camada, evocando a disposi\u00e7\u00e3o das suas p\u00e9talas. O t\u00edtulo Rosa Mec\u00e2nica reflete a uni\u00e3o entre a delicadeza da natureza e a rigidez das formas arquitet\u00f3nicas. A pe\u00e7a estabelece um equil\u00edbrio entre o org\u00e2nico e o mec\u00e2nico, simbolizando um processo de constru\u00e7\u00e3o e transforma\u00e7\u00e3o cont\u00ednuas.<\/p>\n

Talha Portuguesa.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\nA \u201cLusit\u00e2nia\u201d uma pe\u00e7a profundamente inspirada nas ra\u00edzes e na identidade cultural portuguesa, concebida como uma interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o contempor\u00e2nea de um elemento tradicional. Durante o seu processo de cria\u00e7\u00e3o, o artista refere ter encontrado um forte envolvimento emocional, descrevendo-o como um trabalho capaz de o fazer perder a no\u00e7\u00e3o do tempo. A obra representa uma ideia de explos\u00e3o e transforma\u00e7\u00e3o, como se a mat\u00e9ria se expandisse de dentro para fora. As fissuras, os relevos e o efeito de cr\u00e1culo remetem para a imagem da terra seca e gretada pela falta de \u00e1gua, conferindo \u00e0 pe\u00e7a uma sensa\u00e7\u00e3o de for\u00e7a, tens\u00e3o e movimento. Longe de reproduzir a talha portuguesa de forma convencional, o artista procura apresentar uma vis\u00e3o mais contempor\u00e2nea e revolucion\u00e1ria deste patrim\u00f3nio, preservando a sua ess\u00eancia, mas reinterpretando-a atrav\u00e9s de uma linguagem escult\u00f3rica din\u00e2mica e expressiva. O objetivo \u00e9 homenagear um s\u00edmbolo marcante da cultura portuguesa, transformando-o numa pe\u00e7a que reflete simultaneamente tradi\u00e7\u00e3o, inova\u00e7\u00e3o e identidade.<\/p>\n
